We are proud to be a breath-easy, smoke-free inn. Guests who smoke must only do so in designated smoking areas. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed to stay at the Pacific Grove Inn. There are plenty of excellent dining options in our historic coastal town. Try a meal at the Beach House Restaurant at Lovers Point, Fandango Restaurant, or Sur Restaurant. There are also plenty of exciting sites and attractions within proximity to our property, including the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary, Point Pinos Lighthouse, Asilomar State Beach, Monterey Bay Aquarium, and Cannery Row.

We have a 48 Hour Cancellation Policy. If you wish to cancel or modify a reservation, you must do so by 48 hours prior to your arrival date. If you cancel or modify post the expiration of the Cancellation Period or you fail to show up, a no-show charge will be levied on your credit card for one full night plus taxes and fees. Credit cards are pre-authorized prior to arrival. The Hotel is not responsible for guaranteeing the reservation if an invalid or expired credit card is provided. The name on the credit card used to check-in to pay for incidentals must be the primary name on the guestroom reservation. Government issued photo identification and a credit card are required in order to check-in.
If you have made a reservation with an Advance Purchase Discount, you will NOT be able to cancel or modify this pre-paid non-refundable reservation type.
We have a hotel policy of collecting 40% of your total reservation amount as a deposit, as soon as you complete the reservation. The remaining amount of your reservation will be charged to you on the day of your check-in before 11 a.m.
If, for any reason, you wish to cancel your reservation, then as followed to our cancellation policy, you will get the refund of that deposit amount accordingly.
If reservation is through the third party and the guest is paid with third party (prepaid reservations) we will need a Guest Credit Card on file for incidental purposes over the phone.
The historic and charming Pacific Grove Inn offers attractive guestrooms and excellent amenities. Our property further offers breathtaking views of the Monterey Bay, free parking, free WiFi. The staff is available 24 X 7 only via phone.
Due to COVID-19, there is no housekeeping service for stay-overs. Only check outs are cleaned on a regular basis per health regulations.
A private parking lot is free and reserved for guests.

Children of all ages are welcome to stay at the Pacific Grove Inn. Those 18-years and older are considered adults at our property. Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to provide cribs or extra beds.
Pets are not allowed at Pacific Grove Inn.

Terms & Conditions
This property is privately owned and the management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests or for loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind. Once checked in, no cancellations. All linens are inventoried: missing or damaged linens will be charged. PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED. Guest rooms not authorized for pets that have evidence of pet dander and/or odor will be charged a $150 non-refundable fee for deep cleaning services. Any damages to hotel property will be charged an additional fee upon assessment. This is a NON-SMOKING facility. Guest acknowledges that smoking is not allowed in guest room or within hotel facility. If anyone in guest's party smokes in the guest room, guest hereby expressly authorizes hotel management to charge credit card the amount of $250.00 to reimburse the property for the additional cost of cleaning guest room. If your reservation has been paid in advance or you elect to pay by cash, a $150 security deposit via credit card will be required upon check-in and will be charged in the event that damages outlined herein occur.
