Pacific Grove Inn is our independently operated seven-room property in Pacific Grove. Under new ownership, we focus on providing a comfortable and welcoming stay while preserving the character and intimate scale of the inn. Our Monterey Peninsula location makes it convenient to explore the coastline and attractions throughout the surrounding area.
The property has long been part of Pacific Grove's architectural history. Known historically as the Tuttle House or Tuttle Cottage, the inn reflects the Queen Anne tradition and remains closely associated with the Tuttle family, whose connection to the property is documented in local historical records.

The Tuttle House and Queen Anne Legacy
Our inn occupies the property historically known as the Tuttle House or Tuttle Cottage. Its history is associated with Jane K. Tuttle, whose Forest Avenue cottage project began in 1907, and her son Charles K. Tuttle, a pharmacist and amateur photographer who became a notable figure in early Pacific Grove.
The property is an early-20th-century example of Queen Anne architecture, with documented features including spindlework ornamentation and cutaway bay windows. Today, it is identified on the City of Pacific Grove's Historic Resources Inventory, recognizing its historic significance within Pacific Grove.
